To use BrightReps, we may need to store your Application Program Interface (API) keys or credentials for third-party services (ShipStation, Arena, etc). They are only used to access data you tell us to. We log certain information to provide support and fix problems.
Our Service allows you to integrate and create work flows and commands for various online third-party services ("Third-Party Services"). In order to take advantage of this feature, you may need to authenticate, register for or log into Third-Party Services through the Service or on the websites of their respective providers. When you enable linking between or log in to Third-Party Services through the Service, we will collect relevant information necessary to enable the Service to access that Third-Party Service and your data and content contained within that Third-Party Service ("Login Credentials"). We store your Login Credentials long enough to enable linking to the Third-Party Service.
We may retain certain personally non-identifiable information related to the data or content linked between Third-Party Services (for example, date sent, link configuration, names of the Third-Party Services), for the purpose of improving our Services and as described below in the "Non-Identifiable Data" section.
We use third-party payment processors, such as PayPal or Stripe, for all payments. BrightReps does not store credit card details or banking information and instead relies on PayPal or Stripe for this.
We use a third-party payment processor to process payments made to us. In connection with the processing of such payments, we do not retain any personally identifiable information or any financial information such as credit card numbers. Rather, all such information is provided directly to our third-party processors, whose use of your personal information is governed by their privacy policies.
When you interact with us through the Services, we may collect Personal Data and other information from you, as further described below:
Aggregated Personal Data: In an ongoing effort to better understand and serve the users of the BrightReps Services, BrightReps may conduct research on its customer demographics, interests and behavior based on the Personal Data and other information provided to us. This research may be compiled and analyzed on an aggregate basis. This aggregate information does not identify you personally. BrightReps may also disclose aggregated user statistics in order to describe our services to current and prospective business partners, and to other third parties for other lawful purposes.
We will keep any information that you provide to us until such time as you delete your account with the BrightReps Service.
BrightReps won't sell or rent your personal information to a third party. Primarily, we use personal data to run BrightReps. We may use personal data to provide you with predictions about other services you might be interested in on BrightReps. If we intend to use your personal data in a way we have not mentioned, we will let you know when we collect that information.
Sometimes we aggregate user data anonymously to understand our customer base better.
We don't sell your personal data. If we work with partners or contractors, they may have limited access to your personal data but only so much to do their job.
If we sell the company, personal data may be included in the transfer.
You can visit the Services without providing any Personal Data. If you choose not to provide any Personal Data, you may not be able to use certain BrightReps Services.
BrightReps is not in the business of selling your information. We consider this information to be a vital part of our relationship with you. There are, however, certain circumstances in which we may share your Personal Data with certain third parties without further notice to you, as set forth below:
Business Transfers: As we develop our business, we might sell or buy businesses or assets. In the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar event, Personal Data may be part of the transferred assets.
Agents, Consultants and Related Third Parties: BrightReps, like many businesses, sometimes hires other companies to perform certain business-related functions. Examples of such functions include mailing information, maintaining databases and processing payments. When we employ another company to perform a function of this nature, we only provide them with the information that they need to perform their specific function.
Legal Requirements: BrightReps may disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation, (ii) protect and defend the rights or property of BrightReps, (iii) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Services or the public, or (iv) protect against legal liability.
We take many steps to ensure your private information and account credentials are safe. To this end, if you find a security problem, contact us and we will fix it immediately. Keep in mind, emails and communications with us are not encrypted.
BrightReps takes reasonable steps to protect the Personal Data provided via the Services from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no Internet or email transmission is ever fully secure or error free. In particular, email sent to or from the Services may not be secure. Therefore, you should take special care in deciding what information you send to us via email. Please keep this in mind when disclosing any Personal Data to BrightReps via the Internet.
If anything changes, we will let you know at least 14 days ahead of time via this website or an email.
We also have a set of terms and conditions.
Your access to and use of the Services is subject to the Terms of Service at https://www.brightreps.com/terms.
